Volunteer Awards
Charles Riesedel – Of all the people in the region, he has by far done the most for the contest. I know firsthand the sheer number of hours he has dedicated throughout the year – he is simply amazing! No one deserves to be a Hall of Famer more than him. He has built the region to over 200 teams through his personal efforts, started developing a team to help support the region, and was willing to step aside when someone else was ready and capable to take on the position. Even so, he has continued to be involved at a high level. He has supported and built the contest in countless ways, from contributing his own time and money at UNL to reaching out to schools that had no prior connection to the contest.
